Bom Dia! Portuguese Has Arrived
Bom Dia! Portuguese Has Arrived
NGOsource equivalency determinations (EDs) are now more accessible to Portuguese-speaking NGOs. Thanks to Ford Foundation’s support, native Portuguese speakers are available to assist NGOs directly in this language, through TechSoup Global partner ATN-TechSoup Brasil.

We can process EDs in Portuguese, English, French, Spanish, and Mandarin Chinese. This expands our ED services in the Portuguese-speaking world. From Brazil to Mozambique, Angola, or beyond, if an ED in Portuguese could assist your grantmaking, NGOsource is pleased to help.

How Fast Can We All Build a Shared Solution?
How Fast Can Members Build a Shared Solution?
Heard of the innovative “sharing economy”? This financial model runs the gamut from car sharing to home rentals to
co-operatives. Well now grantmakers use their own sharing solution to speed funding to NGOs outside the United States.

The NGOsource ED repository is exactly that as members collectively save time, share resources, and help each other. The exponential growth depicted above benefits all members.

Knowledge for Global Social Movements
Knowledge for Global Social Movements
Global drug policies? Armed conflict in Myanmar? Dismantling corporate power? Through research and advocacy, the Transnational Institute's (TNI) global network takes on issues like these to strengthen international social movements.

TNI empowers activists, providing scholarship to drive global social change while also helping put “ideas into movement.” From land-grabbing by Euro agribusiness to public water services in Jakarta, the issues this global fellowship of scholar-activists supports is broad. Read about their work and learn what they thought about working with NGOsource.

Welcome to Our Newest Members!
Welcome to Our Newest Members!
Increasing NGOsource membership leads to a larger repository of completed equivalency determinations (EDs). Our members benefit from each other's completed EDs. Because we all share in the work that's been completed, the rate to reissue is more affordable.

We’re pleased to greet these new members:

• American Jewish World
• Bohemian Foundation
• Fever Relief Fund
• Hart Foundation
• The McKnight Foundation
• Quail Roost Foundation
• The Tecovas Foundation
We do the legwork, legal work, and paperwork for you. NGOsource allows
U.S. grantmakers to quickly and accurately determine if an overseas NGO is equivalent to a U.S. public charity (the process of “equivalency determination” or “ED”).
MEet the Team

“TNI has had two loyal donors based in the United States, so being [affirmed as] the equivalent of a 501(c)(3) organization has been very important to us. And, of course, we hope to find new supporters in the U.S. donor community in the coming years, too.”
