On Track for 500 EDs in Year One
Humane Africa
As we approach 100 EDs within the first few months of NGOsource's launch, this philanthropic resource can only continue to benefit the members. By the end of our fiscal year, we project that the central repository of EDs will have more than 500 EDs to support your giving.

Our members get the benefit of each other's completed equivalency determinations (ED). No need to start the process over. We all share in the work that's been completed.
Doubled Expansion to 30 Countries
Doubled in a Month
NGOsource is processing EDs in 30 countries all over the world with support from our TechSoup Global partners. That's double the number of countries covered in just two months.

These partners have solid experience qualifying organizations for corporate philanthropy programs. With their support, we now cover all these places:

As NGOsource membership grows, the centralized collection of EDs also expands. Not only do members get the benefit of EDs already made at a more affordable rate, but standardizing the process reduces risk and adds efficiency.

With new members joining daily, NGOsource is honored to welcome the following:
  • John D. and Catherine T. MacArthur Foundation
  • Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation
  • Skoll Foundation
  • Robert Wood Johnson Foundation
  • Gordon and Betty Moore Foundation
Kyle Reis Joined NGOsource
Kyle Ries
We are pleased to welcome Kyle Reis to the team. As senior director of global data services and our East Coast representative, Kyle works on NGOsource's strategic planning and outreach to international funders. He's been with us since the beginning too, as an original member of the Advisory Council.

Before we lucked out, Kyle had a fulfilling journey at the Ford Foundation where he held increasingly important roles, implementing operations' strategies and identifying innovative practices, tools, and resources for grantmakers.

In his spare time, Kyle supports a number of other causes, including the National Advisory Committee of Project Streamline, which helps grantmakers and grantees improve grant application and reporting practices. He also has a keen interest in using technology and social media to advance social change, so it seems like we're a perfect match.

A CLEAR NEED
"NGOsource will be a quantum leap forward for international grantmaking [as] the most cost-effective, transparent, reliable avenue to conduct our due diligence outside of the United States. It will not only save us time and money, but also give us greater confidence and peace of mind about groups we fund globally."

NGOsource is a project of the Council on Foundations and TechSoup Global. TechSoup Global is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization working toward the day when every nonprofit, library, and social benefit organization on the planet has the technology, knowledge, and resources it needs to operate at its full potential. The Council on Foundations, formed in 1949, is a nonprofit membership association of grantmaking foundations and corporations. Members of the Council include more than 1,700 independent, operating, community, public, and company-sponsored foundations and corporate-giving programs in the United States and abroad.
