NGOsource Featured in the Philanthropy Journal
Extra! Extra! NGOsource made the headline of the latest issue of Philanthropy Journal. The report said:

Philanthropy Journal
"While such philanthropy used to be fraught with risk, there now is increased assurance that funds directed thousands of miles away will be managed by a foreign NGO that meets the rigorous standards imposed on tax-exempt organizations in the United States."

Read the full feature here, and see what Darin McKeever, deputy director of the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, told Philanthropy Journal about our service.

Introducing Senior Counsel, Meghan Hanson!
NGOsource's newest team member joins us from the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation. Meghan Hanson will act as senior counsel supervising our equivalency determination (ED) experts and managing ED applications.

Her years of experience in tax law, international grantmaking, and the legal issues faced by foundations illustrate how abundantly well suited Meghan is for this role — a perfect fit.

Her passion for social change and policy took hold early in her career. That inspiration never waned as she continues to support nonprofits in her community by volunteering and doing pro bono work. Welcome aboard, Meghan!
Our International Partners Guide Grantees
Global Network
NGOsource offers an improved grantee experience because NGOs can interact with our partners in their own language and during business hours in their time zone. We support English, Spanish, French, and Mandarin Chinese. Plus we'll continue to add more languages in the future, based on the needs of NGOsource members.

Global Partners
Our global partners also help NGOs navigate the equivalency determination (ED) process by clarifying specific requirements and guiding them through the NGOsource process. Partners are familiar with local laws, customs, and ED requirements in the regions they serve.
We do the legwork, legal work, and paperwork for you. NGOsource allows U.S. grantmakers to quickly and accurately determine if a foreign NGO is equivalent to a U.S. public charity (the process of "equivalency determination" or "ED").
Whether you make dozens of global grants each year or just a few, we have a membership level that's right for your organization. Joining NGOsource at the right membership level will minimize overall costs. See how it works.

"NGOsource's equivalency determination service has just unburdened me. The process was quick and easy. Now we can spend our time and resources doing what we do best and leave this part of the nitty-gritty to NGOsource."
