Guest Bloggers
This month we've seen some exceptional posts on the TechSoup for Libraries blog, especially by our guest bloggers. It is these voices from the field that make our blog noteworthy. In fact, our blog was mentioned last month by StateTech Magazine in their article, Required Reading: 6 Indispensable Library Technology Blogs. Thanks to our guest bloggers and webinar speakers for sharing all their inspiring library stories and tips for technology success. During the last month the following volunteers contributed their knowledge:
Library Spotlight: Laura Speer

In our latest spotlight, Planning, Privacy, and Passion, Laura Speer of the Fayetteville Public Library in Fayetteville, AR shares her tips for successfully keeping library technology on the cutting edge while taking care to maintain privacy and security for the library and its patrons. She shows that a winning combination of enthusiasm and smart planning can achieve LibraryEdge Benchmark 10 which focuses on technology management policies that speak to hardware and software upgrades, network security policies, and patron privacy policies.
